Who we are
Addsure is an insurance brokerage and authorised financial services provider (FSP registration number: 15269), operating nationally across South Africa.
We specialise in insurance, financial, and risk planning for community schemes such as sectional title schemes and home owners’ association as well as personal lines and commercial insurance.
Established in 1995, the company is owned and managed by Mike, Brian and Brenda Addison with advisors in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, including Port Shepstone.
How we work
Addsure’s advisors work paperless, using cloud-based technologies. That means we conduct most of our meetings via online communications platforms such as Zoom and Skype. Naturally, we are still available for face-to-face and onsite visits.
As an extension of our client-centric approach, we developed our own, unique cloud-based system called ATON (Aid TO Navigation). ATON provides an access point for clients to all the information they may require related to their policies at their fingertips.

Addsure’s systems, operations and dedicated team ensure that our community scheme, personal and commercial clients receive the very best service and advice.
Our specialised and experienced team will ensure that your policies are properly analysed and compared upon annual renewal in accordance with FAIS Code of conduct.
Addsure subscribes to a culture of treating customers fairly (TCF) and as a client-centric practice, our priority is to protect our clients, not just their assets.
Community schemes
Owing to established expertise in community scheme insurance, it remains a strong area for us.
Our experienced team continues to support managing agents, portfolio managers and trustees, ensuring that owners in schemes are sufficiently covered in respect of community scheme risks.
Personal & Commercial
Addsure offers a notable personal and commercial lines insurance broking service.
We pride ourselves on offering bespoke insurance solutions for both individuals and businesses. Our dedicated and fully qualified team of skilled advisors specialises in personal insurance and commercial insurance.
Compliance
Addsure embraces a regulatory environment for financial services providers. Addsure subscribes to a high standard of ethics and compliance with a view to providing clients with a top-quality service by an experienced and professional team.
Addsure is registered with the Financial Services Board (FSB) as a financial services provider in terms of The Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS Act). Addsure’s licence registration number is 15269.
Addsure fully embraces the fair treatment of clients. We are acutely aware that we must protect our clients, not just their assets.
As a client-centric practice, we focus on providing the highest standard of independent advice when we recommend financial products and assist clients during the claims process.

The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) focuses on detecting the source of criminally derived funds. Addsure has a duty in terms of this legislation to verify client details and to report suspicious or unlawful account or financial
activities such as money laundering, fraud and terrorist financing.
Addsure’s FICA internal rules are strictly adhered to.
In terms of FAIS, all financial service providers must have an internal complaints resolution process to deal with clients who complain about financial services rendered by a financial service provider or its representatives (financial planners).
